Frédéric et Jules. Deux amis charentais, une famille d'agriculteurs viticoles, une crise du cognac. Et un pari : la première ferme CBD aquaponique de Charente.

There are two of us. Frédéric Penain, a 28-year-old from Angoulême. Jules Revel, son of a family of Charentais winegrowers. Friends since high school. When the cognac industry wavered under American taxes, we looked at these family hectares differently.

"The idea was born with the cognac crisis, looking to diversify." What if our land could grow something else? A French plant, economical, legal, with high added value?

Hemp has been cultivated in France since the Middle Ages. Sails, ropes, paper – our entire industrial history bears its trace. Today, it's CBD that's bringing it back to life. A demanding, nuanced plant that requires skill.

Not just any cultivation. The cleanest. An aquaponic farm: fish feed plants, water circulates in a loop, pesticides have no place. Organic by design, not by certification. Aim: high-end, the first of its kind in Charente.

Pourquoi l'aquaponie ?

Notre méthode de culture, en 4 principes.

Zéro pesticide possible

Les poissons meurent au moindre traitement chimique. C'est notre garantie naturelle : si nos plantes sont vivantes, c'est qu'aucun pesticide n'a été utilisé. Bio par construction.

−90 % d'eau

Cycle fermé, recyclage permanent. Vital face aux sécheresses charentaises qui se multiplient. Une fleur CBD ≠ un litre d'eau.

Nutrition vivante

Les déjections des poissons nourrissent les plantes. Pas d'engrais de synthèse : un écosystème complet, équilibré, qui se nourrit lui-même.

Contrôle total

Indoor instrumenté. Lumière, température, nutriments : chaque paramètre maîtrisé. Résultat : qualité reproductible, taux CBD constants, terpènes préservés.

What's your aquaponics project?
An aquaponic CBD farm in Charente: fish nourish plants, water circulates in a closed loop, zero pesticides possible. First project of its kind in the region. Installation scheduled for early 2027, first harvest mid-2027.
