Frédéric and Jules: two friends from Charente, an online shop and an aquaponics project with a target of 2027.
There are two of us. Frédéric Penain, a 28-year-old from Angoulême. Jules Revel, son of a family of Charentais winegrowers. Friends since high school. When the cognac industry wavered under American taxes, we looked at these family hectares differently.
"The idea was born with the cognac crisis, looking to diversify." What if our land could grow something else? A French plant, economical, legal, with high added value?
Hemp has been cultivated in France since the Middle Ages. Sails, ropes, paper – our entire industrial history bears its trace. Today, it's CBD that's bringing it back to life. A demanding, nuanced plant that requires skill.
Our project is to study an aquaponics farm in Charente, combining fish, plants and water circulation. The installations and first harvest are a target for 2027. The technical choices, compliance and performance of this future production still need to be documented.

The project is studying water circulation and treatment. We are not announcing quantified savings for our future installation before taking measurements.

The project combines fish, plants and biological water treatment. Nutrient requirements and operation must be studied before production begins.
Batches to verify
The quality, composition and compliance of the future harvest will need to be checked by batch. The growing method alone does not guarantee a constant CBD concentration.
